에디션 소개

<Coco the Bunny>(2021)는 게임 구축 프로그램을 활용하여 그린 디지털 그림입니다.

에리카콕스의 첫 평면작업은 이전 영상 작품들에서 상징처럼 등장하는 흐르는 빛을 담아내기 위하여 홀로그램 페이퍼 위에 얹혀져, 각도에 따라 다양한 무지개 빛을 만들어 냅니다.

Coco the bunny, shows at the forsythia garden, is a digital painting drawn using a game building program. His first flat work was placed on holographic paper to capture the flowing light that appeared as a symbol in his previous video works.

작가소개

에리카 콕스(b.1990)

에리카 콕스(Erika Cox)는 홍익대학교 판화과를 졸업한 후, 《What is This Things of Witeness》(취미가, 한국, 2020), 《Now the Sun Hand Sunk》(여의도 자이, 한국, 2020) 총 2회의 개인전을 개최하였습니다. 《Final Cut》(아라리오 갤러리 서울, 한국, 2021), 《Little Dance》(Back Lane West Gallery, 영국, 2017) 등 국내외 다수의 단체전에 참여하였습니다.

Erika Cox was born in Seoul, 1990. He graduated from Hongik University with a Bachelor’s degree in Printmaking. He has held solo exhibitions What is This Things of Witeness at iTaste house, Seoul, 2020 and Now the Sun Hand Sunk, Yeouido Xi, Seoul, 2020. He has participated in group exhibitions Final Cut at Arario Gallery, Seoul, 2021 and Little Dance at Back Lane West Gallery, UK, 2017
